Bits and Pieces

There are a couple things I forgot to say... anyways on the bus (when we were on tour) if you forgot something in the hotel the chaporones would take it and you wold have to sing on the bus to get it back.  Poor Nate had to sing 4 times!  Also on Sunday night the Chaporones came and told us that we had to be back in our hotel rooms by 11:00, boys couldn't go to girls rooms and girls couldn't go to boys rooms and we couldn't gather around in the halls.  It was 10:45 and me Jessica, Keley, Nate, and Willson wanted to have a scripture study and play cards together.  So we went down to the lobby and it was closed.  Willson said "Well now the only place we can go is the elevator"  he was joking but we acually did have scripture study in the elevator.  Every time it dropped we would stand up and act like we were just using the elevator to go up to the 4th floor. We sang Sweet Hour of Prayer and it was cool cuz we had a base, tennar, alto, and a sopprano and it echoed.  Anyways that is basically all I left out.

San Francisco

I went to San Francisco on tour with my dad! It was sooo fun!  On the 1st day we had 2 concerts and mostly drove on bus but it was still fun cuz we were singing all these dorky camp songs and playing card games.  That night we stayed in a kinda junky hotel in Reno, Nevada and it scared the crap out of me.  The wall had faded spots with drips on it that looked like blood that was covered up and the pillows were really flat and felt funny.  Anyways the next day we drove to California and we went to Old Sacramento ( a place that has a bunch of old stores ) I bought these awesome toe socks and a magnetic necklace/ bracelet thing.  Then we went to the Railroad Museum which was acually really cool, interesting and fun.  Then we drove over the bay bridge and into San Francisco to the San Francisco Symphony Hall,  The San Francisco Symphony was really good (evan though I was asleep for part of it). Then we went to Embassy Suites (our hotel) which was really really nice and had a really yummy complimentry breakfast mm mm good!  On Saturday, we went to the Jelly Belly Factory and went on a tour!  Then I bought some souvineres for me and my family including 5 BAGS OF BELLY FLOPS! crazy i know... Then we went to China Town and Pier 39 (Fisherman's Warf).  I bought some post cards and a sweatshirt and had an amazing dinner at a resturant at Pier 39.  That night, on the bus on the speaker Mr. Beck said " Who is the youngest member of our group?"  I stood up and he said "how old are you?"  I said "11"  he said, " how old are you gonna be tomorrow?"  I said "12"  then he said "well then I think we have something on our hands" then we went out side and they had a huge birthday cake with candles then they sang happy birthday and we ate really yummy cake.  The next day (sunday) we went to Scrament meeting and then we went to the Golden Gate Bridge.  It was so awesome and we got to walk on it!  Then we went to Alcatraz Island to see the old prison where they annouced that our next tour would be to Italy nexy summer , 2009  they said that we will have 2 weeks of learning the language and culture and 11 days of acually being in Italy. It sounds really fun! On Monday we drove home and once again sand dorky songs took pictures played games and said our last good byes...  and finally got home and slept.  That would be the end of the story except for this... I caught an awful cold that really sucks! blech!

February

Hey guys! Don't you like how I can actually spell February!  Remember in 3rd grade when I would always spell it wrong and then Mrs. Miller would always say "Its a shame Mary, weren't you born in    F-E-B-R-U-A-R-Y     February"  Anyways I am so excited to turn 12! I can't wait till Young Womens!  That reminds me I have New Beginnings tonight, I'll tell you guys how it goes.  Also I'm going on tour with the Utah Valley Youth Symphony to San Fransisco!  Okay I didn't spell that right cuz there is a red squiggly line under it.  Well I can spell February, now I have a new word to learn... JK
Saren- Thanks for bringing me to the movie!
Love You All
